SAFE trade in program
The TEMP team designed and implemented the first NYC program to exchange hazardous e-bikes and mopeds for safe, UL-2849-certified vehicles. The program became a model for NYCDOT’s $2M e-bike exchange program.
Piloting e-bike rebates
The TEMP team designed and piloted NYC’s first e-bike subsidy program, connecting frontline and non-profit New Yorkers with low-cost, high-quality e-bikes.
Advising on policy and programs
The TEMP team has provided research, advice, and testimony to support sensible policymaking that keeps New Yorkers safe while protecting the right to sustainable mobility options.
